The Target
Corporation under its "Safe City Initiative" donated the
$250,000.00 check to install video technology and other
technologies in the Baldwin Village and Crenshaw
District to abate gang violence. Additionally, crime,
volunteers which will include teenagers and adults are
being sought to assist gang offices in the use of the
technology. LAPD Chief
William Bratton to the left of Chief Garner was in
attendance and spoke along with officials from the
target corporation and the mayor's office. |
